We know that there is no shortage of ideas for Halloween costumes these days. You could spend hours searching through store after store for the perfect costume. You could measure, cut, and sew your way to Halloween glory too, but sometimes simplicity is where it’s at. For those who would rather spend their time enjoying the arrival of sweater weather, have we got the perfect DIY costume idea for you!

This costume idea is quick and easy…and the best part is that you probably have all of the items needed hiding out in your craft drawers. Here’s what you’ll need (no kidding…this is it!)

• A glue gun
• Black glue sticks
• A black headband
• Glue Dots adhesive
• A Hobby Holster (optional…but highly suggested!)

To make this feline masterpiece simply “draw” two equal sized triangles, and peel them off of your work space when cooled. Attach the triangles to your headband with a strip of glue for each, and set aside to cool. Make a small inverted triangle for the nose, and draw three lines coming from each side to make whiskers. It’s not an exact science, so let your inner kitty guide you. Once it’s cooled, peel the nose and whiskers off of the work surface, and attach to the wearer with a single Glue Dot in the center of their nose.

Pair your newest creation with an all black outfit, and you’ve got yourself a bonafide Halloween costume! In less time than it takes to order a pumpkin spiced whatever you’ve created an entire costume that is sure to be the envy of all the cool cats in your neighborhood.
